Chelsea have agreed to sign Brighton star Joao Pedro with the Blues set to pay in excess of £50million, according to the Athletic. It has been claimed that he will sign a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge with a medical now being arranged.
Following on from finalising their move for Jamie Gittens of Borussia Dortmund just yesterday (Saturday), Chelsea have worked extremely quickly to fill another transfer aim.
Signing a versatile attacker was a priority heading into the summer and it now looks as though Enzo Maresca's side have achieved that.

He will become the fourth Brighton player to make that same switch over the last few years, following in the footsteps of Moises Caicedo, Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella. Unlike Gittens, as he has already featured for Borussia Dortmund, the plan is for him to join up with the Chelsea squad at the Club World Cup.
Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Mamadour Sarr are the other players to have had moves to west London confirmed.
