MP NEET UG Counselling 2025: The process of NEET UG Counselling 2025 is going on in Madhya Pradesh and now the Medical Education Department has issued an important instruction for the students. Candidates who want to opt for seat upgradation in the second round or mop-up round will be required to submit an affidavit on a stamp paper of ₹ 500.
What are the terms of the affidavit?
In this affidavit, the candidate has to declare that if the upgradation does not happen, he will be bound to follow the terms of the bond related to rural service and leave the seat in his current college. This affidavit should be in the name of the Dean or Principal of the concerned college, and there should be a stamp duty of 0.5% of the bond amount on it.
Who has to submit the affidavit?
Candidates who have been admitted in the first round and want upgradation in the second round.
Those who are admitted in the first and second rounds and want upgradation in the mop-up round.

As per MP NEET UG 2025 counselling, the last date for choice filling and locking is August 4. Candidates can fill their choices by visiting dme.mponline.gov.in.
Admission Slip and Upgradation Option
DME has also clarified that while taking admission after Phase-1, students will have to decide whether they want upgradation or not. This option will be available on the online login and can be changed only till the stipulated time. If a student hopes for upgradation till the mop-up round, he/she will have to do choice filling again in the second round.
