RRB recruitment 2025: Railway Recruitment Boards under the Government of India, Ministry of Railways have invited applications from the youth for 6238 different posts of technician.

For the post of Technician Grade-I Signal, those who have done B.Sc in Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation or related subject from a recognized university or institute can apply. Apart from this, those who have done three-year diploma in engineering with the given subjects are also eligible to apply.

For the post of Technician Grade-III, candidates having Matriculation/ SSLC from a recognized board along with ITI in relevant trade from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT are eligible to apply. To know more about the eligibility, see the notification.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the post of Technician Grade-I Signal should be between 18 to 33 years of age. Whereas, candidates between 18 to 30 years can apply for Technician Grade-III. Candidates belonging to reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the appointment.

Salary

Candidates selected for the post of Technician Grade-I Signal will be given Rs 29200 as per Pay Level-5 and candidates selected for the post of Technician Grade-III will be given Rs 19900 per month as per Pay Level-5.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the above posts through Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Verification and Medical Examination. The CBT will be of 90 minutes, in which a total of 100 questions will be asked from General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Application fee: The application fee for General, OBC and Economically Weaker Section is Rs 500 and for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Divyang candidates is Rs 250.
