Let us tell you that in this scheme, a subsidy of Rs 30000 is given for installing one kilowatt solar panel. On the other hand, a subsidy of Rs 60000 is given for installing solar panels of 2 to 3 kilowatts. A subsidy of Rs 78000 is available for more than 3 kilowatt solar panels.
After applying in the scheme, you get approval. After which you have to choose the vendor. After that the solar panel is installed. Then verification is done at your place by the electricity company. After this the subsidy is sent to your account.
