Asia Cup 2025: First-Ever India vs Pakistan Final Confirmed; 3rd Face-Off in Span of 2 Weeks

It’s now official. The Asia Cup 2025 final on September 28 will be an India vs Pakistan face-off. For the first time in Asia Cup history, these two sides are playing in the title clashing against each other. India will be gunning for their second T20I title and ninth overall while Pakistan aim for a third crown and first in the T20I format.

This is the third time India and Pakistan will be meeting in the Asia Cup 2025 in the span of two weeks. They met in the Group A match on September 14 and India won by seven wickets. India faced Pakistan again in the Super 4 on September 21 and won by six wickets. Now they will meet in the final on September 28, a first for both teams against each other in Asia Cup history.

When it comes to big tournaments, India and Pakistan have met once in the T20 World Cup final in 2007 and the Champions Trophy final in 2017.
