To provide students with more flexibility and options, IP University will accept CUET-PG scores for admission to 20 postgraduate courses in the 2025–26 academic year.
According to the university, once the merit lists from national-level entrance exams and the university's own admission tests are exhausted, seats in the respective programmes will be filled based on CUET scores. This provision applies to a wide range of courses, including MBA, MCA, MA and LLM.
Candidates interested in applying through CUET can submit their applications online along with an application and counselling fee by July 15. Detailed information is available on the university's official website.
The courses open to CUET-based admissions include MBA, MCA (Software Engineering), MAMC, MPT (M/N/S/C), MSc in Environment Management, LLM, MA (English), MEd, MTech (CSG), MTech (EG), MA (Economics), PG in Applied Geoinformatics, MSc in Yoga, Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design, Bioinformatics, Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology, MS in Packaging Technology, BEd, and BEd in Special Education.
Candidates seeking admission to the MCA programme through NIMCET 2025 can still complete their online registration between June 30 and July 6 if they haven’t paid the application fee yet. Registration is essential for participating in the counselling-based seat allotment. During this window, applicants can also update details in their form, including region, category, and rank. Relevant documents like the NIMCET 2025 rank card, graduation marksheet, and reservation certificates must be uploaded.
Those awaiting graduation results must download and fill out “Attachment 4” from the university's admission booklet and upload it with their form. Applicants applying under the defence quota must select “yes” in the designated section, indicate their preference, and upload the necessary documents. The schedule for choosing counselling options will be shared later, and further information will be available on the university’s website.
