Papaya halwa is as tasty as it is healthy. You can also use jaggery instead of sugar in it. It is very easy to make.
For how many people: 4

Ingredients:
Ripe papaya, two cups, grated
Ghee four tablespoons
Sugar according to taste
Milk one cup
Cardamom powder
Chopped cashews, almonds
One tablespoon of raisins
Method:
To make papaya halwa, first peel the papaya, remove the seeds, and grate it.
Now heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews and almonds in it till they become light golden. Remove them and keep them aside.
After this, add grated papaya in the same ghee and fry on medium flame for five minutes, till its raw smell goes away.
Now add milk to it and cook for 10 minutes while stirring.
When the milk starts drying up, add sugar to it and cook while stirring continuously until the color of the halwa becomes dark and shiny.
Now add cardamom powder and roasted nuts and mix well.
Turn off the gas and serve the halwa hot.
Don't forget to garnish it from above.
