Ben Stokes' Handshake' controversy during the India vs England 4th Test was one of the major talking points on the final day of the match in Manchester. The England skipper had earlier offered a chance for Team India batters to shake hands and accept draw, which they refused and completed their respective centuries.

However, a new video has surfaced online in which Stokes can be seen shaking hands with Sundar and Jadeja once the match ended. The video of the episode was uploaded by England's Barmy Army on their official account with caption, "For anyone suggesting Ben Stokes didn’t shake hands with Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar…".

What was the Handshake controversy?

Earlier on Sudnay, a video went viral on the customary post-match handshakes between both teams. In the video, Ben Stokes bypassed Jadeja and Sundar, walking past them without any acknowledgment. The refusal to shake hands has fueled speculation and debate, with some interpreting it as a reaction to India rejection the earlier draw offer

India pull off Manchester miracle

Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja batted brilliantly to help India pull off a miraculous draw on Day 5 of the India vs England 4th Test in Manchester on Sunday.

After two early wickets, England bowlers failed to find the breakthrough with Gill and Rahul standing tallon Dy 4. The Day 5 started with Stokes dismissing Rahul for 90 runs. The duo stitched 188 rusnn stand for third wicket.

However, Gill found a partner in form of Sundar as both batmen looked to reduce the defecit. Gills smashed the third century of the series but eventually fell to Jorfra Archer for 103 runs.

Jadeja and Sundar then batted the host out of the mnatch with both left handers putting up unbeaten 203 run stand and taking the match from England. Sudnar remained unbeaten 101 runs, while Jadeja remained unbeaten on 107 runs. The final match of the series begins on July 31.
