The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is pleased to announce the conversion of Train No. 15715/15716 (Kishanganj –Ajmer– Kishanganj) Garib Nawaz Express from conventional ICF coaches to modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches, with effect from 29th June 2025. This significant upgradation is part of Indian Railways’ continuous endeavor towards its passenger transportation services. The upgraded train, running tri-weekly, will offer improved ride quality, better safety standards and increased capacity, thereby providing a more reliable and pleasant travel experience.
Train No. 15715 Garib Nawaz Express operates from Kishanganj to Ajmer every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. It departs from Kishanganj at 05:50 hrs and arrives at Ajmer at 21:30 hrs on the second day of its journey. In its return direction, Train No. 15716 Garib Nawaz Express operates from Ajmer to Kishanganj on every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as well, departing from Ajmer at 12:05 hrs to arrive at Kishanganj at 03:00 hrs on its third day of journey. The train serves as an important link between the eastern state of Bihar and the western state of Rajasthan, passing through key destinations in Uttar Pradesh and other regions.
The introduction of LHB rakes on this long-distance route will not only provide improved comfort but also contribute to safer operations due to the advance design of LHB coaches that edge over aged old ICF coaches. Passengers are requested to take note of the conversion and avail the enhanced facilities on this upgraded train services.
