Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A gang of two wheeler thieves was busted in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur, in which 6 accused were arrested in Shahpura and Panagar with 16 two-wheelers worth ₹12 lakh.
So far, police have identified three suspects in the matter and have seized the stolen bikes.
According to information, the accused sold them at scrap-value prices after stealing them. Investigators have also identified several minor suspects.
According to police sources, a tip-off revealed that a youth named Mohammad Adil, a resident of Adhartal Neta Colony, was riding a motorcycle stolen from Panagar. A police team surrounded and apprehended him; on questioning, he confessed to stealing the bike from the Panagar area.

He further stated that, with another partner, Sudama Burman, he stole a bike from Bhedaghat and a moped from Gorabazar, selling both to Om Ben, a resident of Kailash Dham, for the same price.
Adil also confessed that he and a minor associate had stolen a moped from Madhotal and another from Gaurighat, selling both to Shahid Khan of Katangi, again for ₹5,000 each.

During interrogation, he admitted to stealing two motorcycles and three mopeds. Acting on his information, officers recovered all five stolen vehicles.
