A Place in the Sun presenter Jasmine Harman faced mounting pressure during the latest instalment of the Channel 4 programme when a couple expressed their strong dislike for one of her property selections. Recently, Jasmine shared an 'overwhelming' update after quitting the UK.

Jasmine appeared in a 2024 episode of A Place in the Sun, eager to assist loved-up pair Steve and Sid in finding their perfect holiday retreat in Fuerteventura, armed with a £100,000 budget.

Things started promisingly, but difficulties arose when Jasmine presented a property that failed to satisfy the duo's requirements for space and privacy.

At the outset, they appeared taken with the exterior of the three-bedroom arrangement, particularly when Jasmine emphasised what was on offer for £120k.

Yet their excitement rapidly diminished as they explored the fourth property more thoroughly, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Sid was brutally honest, declaring: "I can't stand it. There's absolutely no privacy."

When pressed for her thoughts, Steve confessed: "I personally liked it Jaz, the colour scheme didn't work for us. So we would have to change that."

Sid chimed in with her own reservations, noting: "Throughout the house it would need complete repainting. The kitchen is way too small."

She continued to voice her displeasure with the external space: "There's absolutely no privacy at all and the patio at the back it's half the shade- it comes out in the evening but that's no good for me, the day is done."

Jasmine tried to calm the situation by highlighting that the property does come with an extra balcony, but Sid remained doubtful. She expressed her worries about the lack of privacy, saying: "Yeah but so has everybody else, they're all overlooking each other. No, it's no privacy at all!".

Jasmine admitted to viewers: "Oh my word! I'm really feeling the pressure."

But the episode had a happy ending when Sid and Steve chose to put in an offer on the second property they had seen. Following some tense negotiations, they eventually managed to buy their ideal home in the sunshine.

Bursting with emotion, Sid showed her appreciation to Jasmine. Fighting back tears, she declared: "I can't believe we have a place in the sun!".
