The news has since been announced that Cassie has welcomed her third child, with sources close to the star claiming she gave birth on Tuesday in a New York City hospital. It's understood mother and baby are doing well, despite the tot arriving slightly earlier than planned, have reported.

The had shared professional black-and-white shots of her posing with her family while showing off her baby bump. In one snap, her two daughters kissed her bump while another showed Alex's hands on her belly. She simply captioned the post with a pregnant woman emoji and added the hashtag: "#3". The likes of Karrueche Tran, Lauren London, Vanderpump Rules' Kristen Doute, and Ciara shared their excitement in the comment section at the time.

On May 27, it was revealed she was rushed to a New York hospital after going into labour. A source told TMZ that Cassie was in labour and in the delivery unit, having been around eight months pregnant during her testimony in the trial.

Her ex-partner, Diddy, is facing a number of serious charges - including racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He denies all allegations against him.

Cassie, who was pregnant with her third child while testifying, earlier this month, and made some bombshell claims about the disgraced rapper.

After testifying in the trial, Cassie's lawyer - Doug Wigdor - released a statement on her behalf.

Cassie's statement read: "This week has been extremely challenging, but also remarkably empowering and healing for me.

"For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget. I want to thank my family and my advocates for their unwavering support, and I’m grateful for all the kindness and encouragement that I have received.

"I'm glad to put this chapter of my life to rest. As I turn to focus on the conclusion of my , I ask for privacy for me and for my growing family."
