It was another highly dramatic night in Albert Square last night, as EastEndersfans were introduced to new character Greg Dolan - who promised he had some information about Zoe's son.
Zoe had hired a private investigator, who said he had found a neighbour of her son's adopted parents. She needed £5,000 to talk to him though, which Max had lent her. He also dropped her off at his flat, but she told Max not to accompany her inside.
However, things took a sinister turn when Greg refused to give her information, and started berating her for 'abandoning' her son. He then tried to inappropriately touch her as she whacked him over the head with a lamp in self defence.

He was then left laying unconscious on the floor, with Zoe running out, believing she had murdered him. It caused what appeared to be the breakdown of Zoe and Max's relationship as she stormed out the car when he said he wasn't getting involved.
However, we did hearZoe tell Kat that someone was 'still alive'- could this be Greg?
Taking to X, formerly known asTwitter, one penned: "Oh here’s one for you to chew over…. The guy that Zoe hit was called Greg Dolan…guess who he shares a surname with…!" as they shared a picture of Kat's 'forgotten son' Dermott Dolan.
In 2015, Kat learnt that she had given birth to twins when she was a teenager. A few months after visiting the nunnery where she gave birth, she was told by Sister Ruth that not only had Zoe been born all those years ago, but so had a baby boy. Therefore, Zoe also has a twin brother.
A grieving Kat then went to Ireland to find Luke, her long-lost son, and this was the premise for a spin-off show, Kat And Alfie: Redwater, following the couple's journey to Ireland.

In the spin-off, Kat met her son, now called Dermott Dolan, who was the local vicar, but viewers also learnt that he was a murderer.
He was mentioned a couple of times since, but fans noticed that he had been "forgotten" when Kat told Anthony Trueman how many children she had when he made his return a couple of weeks ago.
Although we didn't learn Greg's name in the episode, fans noticed it in the credits, and they now believe there's about to be a further link. We know Dermott's adopted parents are called Peter and Iris Dolan - but could he also be related?
Replying to the initial comment on X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: "So perhaps is Zoe's son with her brother. That would be a shock for Kat", while another said: "Surely this can’t be a coincidence?"
However, others weren't so convinced. "Greg who doesn’t sound Irish and isn’t living in Ireland?" one said.
Earlier on in the week, when Zoe's bombshells were uncovered, one fan penned: "Could this potentially lead to a return for Dermott Dolan?
"He’s not been seen since ‘Redwater’ and it would be great to bring some closure on his story. Also with the 20th anniversary of The Slaters around the corner, it’s the perfect time for a return!"
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
