Susanna Reid had to intervene during a heated debate on Monday's .
The 54-year-old presenter, alongside co-host Richard Madeley, was discussing the topic "is EU deal a betrayal of ?" with guests Femi Oluwole and Annunziata Rees-Mogg when the debate escalated.
However, the debate took a fiery turn with Susanna forced to step in and tell Femi: "You've got to respect Annunziata's opinion — I'd like to point out so far that the majority so far of the viewers who have got in touch with us agree with Annunziata."

Yet, Femi persisted, repeatedly calling out Susanna's name, resulting in her telling him: "Femi, you can keep saying my name but I need to make the point that Annunziata is making a view heard, or trying to, which a lot people who voted for Brexit agree with.
"The people who have got in touch with us this morning have not died, they are still living voters who feel that their democratic decision is now being overturned."
She added: "You don't need to talk about Annunziata in the third person, she's right in front of you!" At this point, Annunziata also chimed in: "Yeah, you can talk to me and also let me speak!", reports .
Susanna then tried to refocus the conversation, urging: "Okay, now let Annunziata speak!" only to be met with Femi's plea: "Let me finish my point, please!"
Taking to , now X, viewers were quick to react to the fiery debate as one person said: "Wow, Susanna and Richard good thing you’re in between these two bring out the gloves?? They both have good points by talking over each other doesn’t not make it right!"

Elsewhere during Monday's edition of Good Morning Britain, avid football supporter Susanna couldn't contain her joy over her team securing the for the very first time.
The jubilant presenter also used to express her elation about Crystal Palace's victory over Manchester City, clinching the FA Cup trophy.
In a weekend post on Instagram accompanied by a cheerful photo from the match, Susanna wrote: "GLAD ALL OVER! It is hard to believe - @cpfc have won the FA cup for the FIRST TIME!"
Reveling in the triumph, she added: "Such an epic achievement - the players, the manager, the club, the fans. Such a happy day. Eze was a hero and Henderson was a legend. Best day ever for @cpfc fans."
