Car erupts into fireball on major motorway as lanes close and traffic halts

A huge car fire has brought traffic to a halt on a major with drivers stuck in six miles of tailbacks.

Drivers have been told to expect 45 minute delays after the incident near Junction 15 for Northampton and Milton Keynes where three lanes of the southbound carriageway of thewere closed.
