Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s leading SUV manufacturers, is preparing a major launch spree over the next 2–3 years. Alongside its best-selling ICE models, the company is expanding its presence in the electric vehicle (EV) segment with models like the XEV 9e and BE 6. Here’s a closer look at what’s coming.
Mahindra XUV3XO EV
The XUV3XO EV is expected to launch in late 2025 or early 2026. Designed similarly to the ICE XUV3XO, it could replace the XUV400 EV and will compete with the Tata Nexon EV. The SUV is likely to offer 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery options, providing a range of around 400 km on a single charge.
Mahindra XEV 7e
Mahindra’s first all-electric 7-seater SUV, the XEV 7e, is slated for launch early next year. Based on the INGLO platform, it will share battery packs with the XEV 9e and BE 6, including 59 kWh and 79 kWh units. The claimed range is over 600 km per charge. The cabin is expected to feature a triple-screen setup, and the SUV will come with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration.
Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
The XUV700 facelift is expected to launch in mid-2026. Spy images reveal a new exterior design and an updated cabin with a triple-screen setup. It will continue with 2.2-liter mHawk diesel and 2.0-liter mStallion petrol engines, and may introduce additional features yet to be confirmed.
Mahindra BE Rail-E
The BE Rail-E, a rugged off-road variant of the BE 6, was recently spotted testing. It could feature all-wheel drive (AWD) and a 79 kWh battery pack. The SUV is expected to have off-road-specific bumpers, rounded headlamps, steel wheels, and a roof carrier, making it ready for rough terrains.
Mahindra Vision Concept SUVs
In August 2025, Mahindra unveiled four concept SUVs: Vision S, Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT. The Vision S, part of the Scorpio lineup and under 4 meters in length, is expected to launch late 2026 or early 2027. It will be followed by the other three Vision models in the coming years.
