
Kelly McKee Zajfen has taken to Instagram to praise her 20-year friendship with Meghan Markle, describing her as a "loving human". During a question-and-answer session on her Instagram story, Kelly was asked by one of her followers about their friendship.
She quickly gushed over Meghan, referring to her as one of her favorite people. Kelly - who is the the co-founder of Alliance of Moms - replied: "I've actually known her for almost 20 years? She even came to my wedding (15 years ago!), and she's been the most amazing, nurturing, fun, loving human."
She then added: "She's been by my side, especially since Georgie died, and I cherish our friendship very much."
Georgie refers to Kelly and her husband Julian's late son, who died aged nine in 2022 after having Covid-19 and viral meningitis.
Supporting her friend, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry - who are parents to six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet - donated £3,722 [$5,000] to a GoFundMe page set up in Georgie's honor.
After posing with Meghan at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala, Kelly - who also featured in the first series of With Love, Meghan - shared the picture to Instagram whilst praising the royal for her work with the hospital.
She wrote: "I was also beyond grateful to share in this beautiful evening with one of my closest friends. Meg, your commitment to supporting Children's Hospital Los Angeles and community is truly inspiring. I'm so grateful to have you by my side."

The picture shared by Kelly showed the two of them laughing and holding hands at the event. Kelly wore a lacy, lavender dress, paired with a dark purple clutch, whilst Meghan repurposed her iconic red dress, which she previously wore to the New York Salute to Freedom Gala in 2021.
Kelly also praised the hospital for the way that cared for her daughter Lily, who has a heart condition. She wrote: "My deepest gratitude to Children's Hospital Los Angeles for the extraordinary care they give to our daughter Lily. Our journey began when she was just two and a half, and from that day forward, we've experienced nothing but kindness, hope, care, and unmatched expertise.
"Our team at Children's has given us strength and hope during the most challenging moments and their continued commitment to Lily's care has made all the difference to our family."
