Sky is set to make the upcoming month a cinematic feast for film enthusiasts with an impressive array of movies being added to its streaming options.
The broadcaster has unveiled the roster of titles that will be incorporated into Sky Cinema in June, arguably making it the most impressive lineup of 2025 so far.
The selection includes an Oscar winner, multiple major sequels, one of the most polarising films to hit cinemas, and a remake of a classic Stephen King horror story.
All these films will also be available for streaming on the NOW platform for those holding a Cinema membership pass.
Sky have sent confirmation of the exact dates that each title will be added to the service with each expected to be made available on a weekly basis starting from June 6, as new films usually premiere on Fridays, reports .
So, which films are being added, what are their plots, and how have audiences reacted to them? Here's all you need to know:
Anora
Anora swept the board at the most recent Academy Awards, taking home five Oscars on a record-breaking night. This included Best Picture, Best Actress for star Mikey Madison, while Sean Baker clinched Best Director and Best Original Screenplay awards.
The movie is touted as a contemporary Cinderella tale. Madison stars as Ani, a young sex worker from Brooklyn whose life is turned upside down after meeting and marrying Vanya, the reckless son of a Russian billionaire, on a whim.
However, when Vanya's parents discover their union, they dispatch their henchmen to annul the marriage, sparking a frenzied chase through New York's streets.
Audiences were also enamored with the film, with one fan gushing online: "Anora is a cinematic triumph-a film that goes beyond the surface of a modern Cinderella story to become something far more profound and deeply impactful. What begins as a burst of vibrant energy gradually transitions into heartbreaking moments, unfolding into a powerful emotional journey that grips you in unexpected ways."
Anora will be available on Sky Cinema and NOW from June 13.
Joker: Folie a Deux
One of last year's most polarizing films is set to make its streaming premiere on Sky Cinema and NOW with Joker: Folie a Deux. Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, who is currently awaiting trial for his past crimes in Arkham Asylum.
As Arthur grapples with his dual identity, he discovers true love and unlocks the music that has always been within him. The addition of Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, and Steve Coogan to the cast brought a fresh take to the comic book villain, although it didn't resonate with everyone.
However, it failed to replicate the critical acclaim of the original, garnering a 31% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans remain divided in their opinion of the film.
One fan described it as "a haunting and daring sequel", while another expressed their disappointment, stating: "I wish that I could give this movie negative stars. This is the worst movie that I've ever seen."
Joker: Folie a Deux will be streaming on Sky Cinema and NOW from June 20.

Gladiator II
This sequel has been over 20 years in the making. Director Ridley Scott returns with a follow-up to his Oscar-winning epic from 2000.
The story takes place years after Lucius witnessed the death of Maximus at the hands of his uncle. With his home conquered by the powerful emperors of Rome, Lucius must enter the Colosseum to fight.
Driven by rage and with the future of the empire at stake, he draws strength and honour from the past to restore Rome's glory to its people. The film boasts an impressive cast, featuring Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, and Pedro Pascal.
While it may not quite live up to the original, fans have been impressed, with one stating: "A breathtaking sequel that not only pays homage to its predecessor but also carves out its own legendary path in cinematic history."
Gladiator II will be streaming on Sky Cinema and NOW June 27.
Venom: The Last Dance
Tom Hardy reprises his role as Venom in the third and final instalment of Sony's anti-hero trilogy. The studio has capitalised on the only Marvel character that has achieved box office success outside of the MCU.
In Venom: The Last Dance, Eddie and Venom are on the run from both their worlds, with the authorities closing in. This forces the duo to make a heart-wrenching decision that will ultimately seal their fate.
Similar to Joker 2, the film received mixed reactions upon its initial release. Nevertheless, it should offer an action-packed viewing experience for streaming enthusiasts.
Venom: The Last Dance is set to stream on Sky Cinema and NOW from June 6.
Salem's Lot
Sky Cinema's blockbuster month concludes with a fresh take on a classic Stephen King story. Lewis Pullman, recently seen in Marvel's Thunderbolts, portrays author Ben Mears, who returns to his childhood home in Jerusalem's Lot seeking inspiration for his next novel.
However, he discovers that his hometown is being terrorized by a bloodthirsty vampire, posing the question first asked in King's original novel: what if Dracula invaded the United States?
Although the film garnered mixed reviews, one critic stated it "is imperfect, incomplete, but more than consistent with the original work and the tradition of vampire cinema it inspired."
Salem's Lot is streaming on Sky Cinema and NOW from June 22
