SSC Grade 'C' Steno final results for 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final results of the Grade 'C' Stenographers Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2023. The result, published on June 24, 2025, is now available on the Commission's official website, ssc.gov.in.
The selection process included a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) on February 6, 2024, followed by a Skill Test on December 6, 2024. A total of 441 candidates were shortlisted for the Skill Test stage. Based on performance in the Skill Test, APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports) evaluation, and availability of vacancies, only 25 candidates have been recommended for final appointment across six participating services and departments.

The final recommendation list is based on revised vacancies reported by each participating ministry or department. The list below shows both the vacancies and how many candidates were actually recommended:

No eligible candidates were found for PwBD or other reserved vacancies in some categories.

Candidates can follow these steps to check their individual result on the official SSC portal:
Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the 'Login' button at the top-right corner of the homepage
Step 3: Enter your Registration Number and Password
Step 4: After logging in, go to 'Result/Marks' in your candidate dashboard
Step 5: Select 'Stenographers Grade C LDCE 2023' from the dropdown list to view your result and marks
Result is provisional and subject to verification
The Commission noted that the result is provisional and subject to document verification, identity checks, and fulfilment of eligibility conditions. Marks for all candidates—qualified and non-qualified—will be uploaded shortly on the SSC website.
